Additional Information
Malkarshah Oliullah Baba, also known as Pattani Sahib, is buried at this place. He served as a commander in the army of the Hyderabad Nizam. In the year 1726 CE, he resigned from his military post and adopted an ascetic life with the intention of dedicating himself to social service and came to this location. At the time, the British seized control of the Dindigul area from Tipu Sultan. However, Baba stayed here and blessed the local people who were suffering under British oppression. After his passing, he was buried here, and since then, both Muslim and Hindu communities have continued to worship at this site. Over time, this place has stood as a symbol of communal harmony and social unity.
