சாலை மலைக் கரடு என்ற இடத்தின் அருகில் விவசாய நிலம் ஒன்றைச் சீர்படுத்தும்போது, பெருங்கற்காலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கல்வட்டப் புதைவிடத்தில் சாடி, கலயம், குடுவை, தட்டு, கிண்ணம், தண்ணீர்க் குவளை, சிறிய மூடி போன்ற மண்பாண்டங்களின் பாகங்கள் ஆகியன கிடைத்துள்ளன. இவற்றுள் சில உடைந்த நிலையிலும் சில உடையாத நிலையிலும் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டன. இம்மட்பாண்டங்கள் அனைத்தும் சிவப்பு அல்லது காவி நிறத்தில் உள்ளன. இவை தற்போது கிராம நிர்வாக அலுவலகத்தில் பாதுகாப்பாக வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

Additional Information

While leveling agricultural land near a place called Sālai Malai Karadu, the remnants of a megalithic stone circle were discovered. Buried beneath it were Iron Age earthenware items such as jars, pots, bowls, jug, lid, and plates. Some of these items were found intact, while others were fragmented. All the earthenware pieces are red or reddish-brown in color. They are currently being safely kept at the village administrative office.
