கைலாசநாதர் அல்லது கைலாசமுடையார் கோவிலின் கருவறைச் சுவர்கள், அதிட்டானம் மற்றும் முன் மண்டபத்தூண் உள்ளிட்ட 7 இடங்களில் கல்வெட்டுகள் காணப்படுகின்றன. இக்கல்வெட்டுகளில் கூறப்பட்ட செய்திகள்:

கல்வெட்டு 1) இவை சிவன் கோவிலுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட கொடைகளைப் பற்றிக் கூறும் சிதைவுற்ற கல்வெட்டுகளாகும். இதில் அதிகாரிகள் பெயரும், பூங்கான நாடும் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றன.

கல்வெட்டு 2) அரியபெருமாள் என்பவரின் பெயரை மட்டும் குறிப்பிடும் கல்வெட்டு இது. இவர் இக்கோவிலில் அறப்பணி ஒன்றைச் செய்தவராக இருக்கலாம்.

கல்வெட்டு 3) பிற்காலப் பாண்டிய மன்னன் மெய்க்கீர்த்தியைக் கொண்ட சிதைவுற்ற கல்வெட்டாகும்.

கல்வெட்டு 4) மாறவர்மன் சுந்தரபாண்டியனின் மெய்க்கீர்த்திப் பகுதி மட்டுமே உள்ளது.

கல்வெட்டு 5) துண்டுக் கல்வெட்டு. இறையிலியாக நிலமளிக்கப்பட்டதைத் தெரிவிக்கிறது.

கல்வெட்டு 6)பூங்கான நாட்டுக் காஞ்சி கயிலாசநாதர் கோயில் இறைவனுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட கொடைகளைப் பற்றித் இத்துண்டுக் கல்வெட்டுகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. திருநந்தா விளக்கு எரிப்பதற்காக ஒரு செக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இக்கல்வெட்டில் பல பாண்டிய அலுவலர்களின் பெயர்கள் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றன.

கல்வெட்டு 7) வாணியக்குட்டி செட்டி அவரது மகள்கள் ஆனந்தவல்லியும் அழகும் இக்கல்வெட்டுள்ள மண்டபத்தைக் கட்டியதைத் தெரிவிக்கிறது.

From the 13th century CE to the 20th century CE

The Kailasanathar (or Kailasamudaiyar) Temple has inscriptions found in seven locations, including the sanctum walls, the adishtanam (base), and the pillars of the mukhamandapa. The key details mentioned in these inscriptions are as follows:

1st Inscription- These are damaged inscriptions referring to donations made to the Shiva temple. They also mention the names of officials and a region called Poongāna Nadu.

2nd Inscription- This inscription mentions only the name of Ariyaperumal. He may have been someone who performed a charitable service at this temple.

3rd Inscription- A damaged inscription containing the meikeerthi (royal eulogy) of a Later Pandya king.

4th Inscription- Another inscription containing only the meikeerthi portion of Maravarman Sundara Pandyan.

5th Inscription- A fragmentary inscription that records a land grant made as a tax-free donation (iraiyili).

6th Inscription- These fragmentary inscriptions provide information about the donations made to the deity of the Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple, located in the Poongāna Nadu region. The inscription states that an oil press (chekku) was donated for lighting the perpetual (Thirunanda) lamp. It also lists the names of several Pandya officials.

7th Inscription- An inscription records that Vāniyakkutti Chetti and his daughters, Ᾱnanda Valli and Azhagu, constructed the mandapa where this inscription is found.
