பொது ஆண்டு 17ஆம் நூற்றாண்டாக இருக்கலாம்

புடைப்புச் சிற்பங்களால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த வழிபாட்டுத் தூண் கல் மண்ணில் புதையுண்ட நிலையில் காணப்படுகிறது. இந்த வழிபாட்டுத் தூண்கல்லின் நான்கு பக்கங்களும் நான்கு அடுக்குகளாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இவற்றுள் இரு பக்கங்கள் அகலமாகவும் இரு பக்கங்கள் குறுகலாகவும் காணப்படுகின்றன. அகலமான முதல் பக்கத்தின், மேல் அடுக்கில் பூர்ணக் கலசத்தின் புடைப்புச் சிற்பம் காணப்படுகிறது. இப்பக்கத்தின் இரண்டு மற்றும் மூன்றாம் அடுக்குகளில், மாடு ஒன்றை மனிதன் ஒருவன் குச்சியால் மிரட்டுவது போன்ற காட்சி காணப்படுகிறது. இந்தப் புடைப்புச் சிற்பம் மாடு மேய்க்கும் சமூகத்தைச் சித்தரிப்பதாக இருக்கலாம். அகலமான இரண்டாவது பக்கத்தின் மேல் பகுதியில் சிவலிங்கத்தின் இருபுறமும் சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் செதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதற்குக் கீழ் உள்ள அடுக்கில் 5 பெண்கள் தங்கள் வலக்கையில் மொட்டாக இருக்கும் பூவை ஏந்தி நிற்கின்றனர். இதற்குக் கீழுள்ள அடுக்கில் ஓர் ஆண் மற்றும் இரண்டு பெண்கள் கைவணங்கி நிற்கின்றனர்.

குறுகலான முதல் பக்கத்தின் மேலடுக்கில் சங்கு போன்ற உருவம் காணப்படுகிறது.

பிற அடுக்குகளில் மாடுகள் மற்றும் மனித உருவங்கள் செதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. நான்கு பக்கங்களின் கீழடுக்குச் சிற்பங்கள் தெளிவற்ற நிலையில் உள்ளன. ஏனெனில் இவை பூமியில் புதைந்துள்ளன. இச்சிற்பங்களில் காணப்படும் உடை, ஆபரணங்கள் மற்றும் வடிவமைப்பு ஆகியவற்றின் அடிப்படியில் இவை, சுமார் 350 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முற்பட்டதாக இருக்கலாம் என்று கணிக்கப்படுகிறது. கால்நடைச் சமூகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மக்களால் இச்சிற்பத்தூண் எழுப்பப்பட்டு வணங்கப்பட்டிருக்கலாம். எனினும், தற்போது இவ்விடத்தில் வசிக்கும் மக்களிடையே இச்சிற்பத்தூணை வழிபடும் வழக்கம் காணப்படவில்லை.

The sculpture is believed to be from the 17th century CE.

This worship pillar stone, adorned with relief sculptures, is found in a buried state in the soil. Each of the four sides of the pillar is divided into four sections. Among these, two sides are broader, and two sides are narrower.

On the first broad side, the top section features a sculpted image of a 'Purna Kalasha' (a sacred pot symbolizing abundance). The second and third sections of this side depict a scene where a man is threatening a cow with a stick. This carving likely represents a pastoral community involved in cattle herding.

On the second broad side, the top section shows a Shivalinga flanked by sun and the moon illustrations carved on either side. Below that, in the next section, five women stand holding flower buds in their right hands. In the section beneath, one man and two women stand with folded hands.

On the first narrow side, the upper section displays a conch-shaped design. Other sections on this side feature carvings of bulls and human figures. The lowest sections on all four sides are worn and unclear because they remain buried underground.

Based on the clothing, jewelry, and design styles depicted in these carvings, it is estimated that this pillar is over 350 years old. It is probable that this carved pillar was erected and worshipped by a pastoral community. However, currently, among the people living in this area, there is no practice of worshipping this pillar stone.
