தேங்காய் மற்றும் பழங்கள் படைக்கப்பட்டு, அபிசேகம் செய்யப்படுகிறது.

கல்வெட்டு / செப்பேடு

இக்கோயிலில் சுமார் 10 கல்வெட்டுகள் காணப்படுகின்றன. இவற்றுள் 4 நந்தி மண்டபத்திலும், 5 கல்யாண மண்டபத்திலும் மற்றொன்று அர்த்த மண்டபச் சுவரிலும் காணப்படுகின்றன. இக்கல்வெட்டுகள் அனைத்தும் பொது ஆண்டு 19ஆம் நூற்றாண்டைச் சேர்ந்ததாக உள்ளன. இக்கோயில் மண்டபங்கள் மற்றும் தூண்கள் அமைக்கப் பல்வேறு ஆட்கள் கொடுத்த கொடைகளைப் பற்றி அவை கூறுகின்றன.

கோபுரம், கருவறை, சந்நிதிகள் மற்றும் தேவகோட்ட சிற்பங்கள் ஆகியவை உள்ளன.

கூடுதல் விவரங்கள்

இந்தக் கோயில் வளாகம் பெரியதாக உள்ளது. இங்கு மூலவர் சந்நிதி, அம்மன் சந்நிதி, நந்தி மண்டபம், கல்யாண மண்டபம் இன்னபிற அமைப்புகளும் உள்ளன. இம்மண்டபங்களின் தூண்களில் சிற்பங்களுடன் கூடிய கல்வெட்டுகள் காணப்படுகின்றன. கருவறையின் மேல் இருதள விமானம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கருவறையின் வெளிச்சுவரில் துர்க்கை, லிங்கோத்பவர், தட்சிணாமூர்த்தி உருவங்கள் காணப்படுகின்றன. கோயிலின் சுவற்றில் கௌளி சின்னம் காணப்படுகிறது. இது செல்லம்பட்டி வட்டாரத்தில் உள்ள சைவக் கோயில்களில் மிகப் பழைமையான கோயிலாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

Inscription / Copper

In this temple, about 10 inscriptions are found. Among them, 4 are in the Nandi mandapa, 5 in the Kalyana mandapa, and one on the wall of the Artha mandapa. All these inscriptions belong to the 19th century CE. They speak about the donations given by various people for the construction of the mandapas and pillars of this temple.

Architecture

There are a gopuram, sanctum, shrines, and Devakotta sculptures.

Additional Information

This temple complex is large. Here, there are shrines for the main deity and the goddess, a Nandi mandapa, a Kalyana mandapa, and other structures. On the pillars of these mandapas, inscriptions with sculptures can be seen. Above the sanctum, a two-tier vimana is built. On the outer wall of the sanctum, images of Durga, Lingodbhava, and Dakshinamurti are found. On the temple wall, the Kauli symbol is seen. This is considered the oldest Shaiva temple in the Sellampatti region.
